There’s also an NFT of a video of Cohen working on the beginning of his memoir in his holding cell filmed, according to ArtGrails, by an “unnamed colleague” just before the disbarred lawyer was released to his Park Avenue apartment to serve out the rest of his sentence. One of the NFTs includes a portion of Cohen’s handwritten manuscript for his memoir Disloyal, which he wrote while he was incarcerated in New York’s Otisville correctional institution. The former fixer for President Donald Trump teamed up with the platform ArtGrails to create some non-fungible tokens out of items from his life behind bars, all of which will be put on display this week during Art Basel, according to Page Six. Michael Cohen is taking his time spent in federal prison and turning it into cold, hard cryptocurrency.
